Authorized Vehicle Registry

Allow-list every approved vehicle — family cars, side cars, official motor pool. We flag ETC activity that lights up on a plate outside the list.

1 · How it starts

The problem it solves

Most ETC cards float between vehicles in a household or fleet. Without a registry, you can't tell if your daughter's trip was billed to your card by mistake, or if a rental vehicle is racking up tolls that shouldn't be there.

How it works

It runs on a clean, simple cycle.

1

Register every authorized vehicle once — plate digits, name, vehicle type.

2

Each morning we compare yesterday's MEISAI rows against your registry.

3

Anything off-list is flagged 'possible mismatch · needs review' — never auto-blocked.

4

You confirm, dispute, or expand the list from your dashboard.

Who uses it

Same technology, three use cases.

Personal

A family registers Dad's Sienta, Mom's N-Box, and the daughter's borrowed Note. Any ETC use on an unfamiliar plate immediately surfaces the next morning.

Available on the JapanETCcard ↔ Japan Toll Receipts bridge.

Business

A small business allow-lists company cars + authorized rentals. A toll on a personal vehicle gets flagged for the bookkeeper.

Gov & Military

An official motor pool maintains a precise list. Off-list activity routes to the manager review queue with audit metadata.

Government / Military features open through the JapanETCcard bridge case-by-case.

FAQ

Common questions

Will JapanETCcard block my card if a mismatch is detected?

No. We never auto-block. Mismatches surface as 'needs review' and you decide the outcome from your dashboard.

How are plates matched?

MEISAI provides only the last 4 plate digits. We compare those against your registered full plates to suggest the most likely vehicle — you confirm.

Can I export the registry for audit?

Yes. The registry exports to PDF + CSV with timestamps for every add, remove, and review decision.
